Not cheap....

I'm glad I've kept my ones (I've got two of those in mint condition) in decent storage boxes.....

$144,50 for an empty reel.... :cyclopsani:

No images on hand but I was always partial to the TDK-SAX 90s and the TDK-MA 90s. Wish I could find some NOS ones as that would kick me in the ass to record you guys some rare stuff

Watch grabbing up the newer MA's. I have a few that either have a binder breakdown or some type of mold. While its not guaranteed that all will suffer from this, I personally stay away from the MA's. You can generally see the white residue on the tape roll while still in the wrapper.

Edit: Here's a photo of one of the 4 I have like that.

If someone has some SAX 90s, I would definitely be interested. I have box of NOS tapes I don't use. Steve here grabbed all the BASF ones I had

I saw your post looking to get rid of them.

Unfortunately I dont have any SA-X either. I do have some SA though. Not a lot but I certainly could spare a couple. Also have lots of XL II if you like Maxell.

Ok, this is the deal

If you Brothers dig obscure garage, I made a recording of a test pressing of Burnt Suite which was a Connecticut local band. The regular lp (if you can find it) sells for $200-300. I used a USB TT to burn it to disc straight through w/o making "breaks". If someone here is willing to make a tape of it to make available to members here (either CD-R or cassette), I would be willing to send my master disc for someone to do their magic, Nando?

This is an album you all need to hear and I am willing to share

Here is what the cover of the lp looks like, it was released on the private BJW label in 1968

The album would be 45 minutes in length, or less, right? If you decide to send it my way, I will see about offering it to members. I would have to limit it to four, as I have a number of recordings left to complete. I like anything that's uncommon to hear, especially from that vintage. I will PM my mailing address to you if you like. Thanks for making this available to us!

Nando.
