How does it sound Daren, did you tried it ? It does look similar with basic older stuff and they are full of surprises, some of those weird brands of tapes do sound very good...

Branding it as a UFO model is interesting. Is that because recordings made on it are out of this world?
I have become drawn to the older cassettes of the 70's. Would that Yashima be of that decade, Daren?
Never tried it Sep. Only picked it up to photograph.
I do like the dbx check-box though!
I am ready to mail Miles' mix tape today. It is recorded on a 70's cassette.
Nando.
Can't wait.....
Daren: Love the old TDK. If you have more oldies to present, please do. You wouldn't have an old Philips in your possession?
Nando.
When I see those tapes, I remember using them in my old shoe box recorder. On a lark, Sep, Vince and I were considering doing a mix tape exchange recorded only on a shoe box deck.
Like me, i'm always enchanted to see those old style small windows cassettes and also remembers me of my shoe boxes times...Yes, we discussed about the shoe box mixtape, also Vince agree about and we'll see how this will turn out...
I found some older Philips cassettes very early made here on an auction, just they are used condition but i'll grab them and see,,, it's about these [pic not mine]

I remember doing my very first recording on this C90 tape in the very early 70's, I recorded Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells......
I remember also the tape almost got smashed into your face when hitting the "eject" button....![]()
