the vents were open....i did not block them...
no matter..with power strip moved...it still hummed...when the switches arrive...i will also change the input jacks...i got two with my last dcp order....for the wopl and loose 8 fin...will probably get another set for the 4 din
 
all will be redone....and i will construct a nice cabinet when my experiments and adventures with phase linears is over....i will incorporate cooling in the cabinet...another set of speakers will get rid of ab switch...and better cabling...i have some on the way ...
 
while installing joes meter switching i will retorque transformer...i am getting there...i had to order a new weather station as my current one is crapping out...reporting minus forty as temperature....it takes a lot of abuse above the roof....its showing its age...

on joes led board for the meters...he has 2 jumpers with 3 pins each one....to select the meter selectivity....
a 10 watt position....a 50 watt position (default of phase linear) and a 100 watt position....
joe includes the wiring if one decides to ditch the jumpers for the pins and install a dpdt switch ....
i did that on the 4 fin....i want to do it on the 8 fin and wopl also...but, i am waiting on switches ... i am out...
really a neat little feature....as well as a brightness control on the leds!!!!

The meters are hooked to the speakers. That might be were your Hum is coming from?
Or you wrapped the AC cord around your Speaker Cable Lol

aint no telling what i have done....its interesting to be me...you never can predict what stupid thing i will do next....
never a dull moment....and i always keep a fire extinguisher or garden hose near....

The speakers are shorted to ground until the DCP engages
