i remember reading about that...and it was a concern when i realized my 2 part speakers were not in the same plane...i experimented briefly moving the two top drivers forward and back...but never could actually hear any difference nor see it in any of my grafting...i then realized i wasnt smart enough to worry about it ...i picked the xover points well within the freq response range so when the speakers decayed by 12+ db they were still in spec...and none of the 3 had to perform at any significant amplititude outside of their performane specs...that was about as far as i am capable to construct...

however, even da vinci started with a crayon...
but i honestly believe that i have a set of speakers that perform well for less than a grand...every one that has asked to hear them..all say the same thing...they are amazed at the clarity...

day 3 with a functioniing 400...it really sounds great...i appreciate the comments and exchange of information and experiences..so many of members here have so much to share...

i will order a few my next amazon order....
in the meantime....i have a floor fan pointed at them (sx & 400) until they arrive....
i felt the fins yesterday....and they were warm to the touch....not hot...before adding the fan...
i have been paying attention....
and using the fan when i was pushing it...to 110 db
the preamp, a piece of schiit, is set at about 1 oclock....
i dont push much harder....on either amp....that is plenty loud....and plainly heard outside....lol
you can see the cows swaying to the beat....
i gotta build some kind of cabinet....not really happy with the current set up....as i have more amps on the way...
maria wants a bigger tv....so i promised a 60+ at the first of the month....
i have a doctors appt tuesday in the big city of liberia....and will probably get her one....two birds with one stone...
it will be replacing the current 40,,,,which i will replace jerrys 32....and put the 32 in maria exercise room to play her excercise videos...
she does an hour each weeknight....
got chris jones on spotify....casting to the den tv...
i have chromecasts on all tv....i like them much better that the smart tv options...

seems the canceling was in the first graph and when phase was changed the dip or cancelling was less....thus the increase in amplitude????

I once had the K's woofs out of phase with each other..... It wasn't just an astounding amount of bass I got back when I put it right, but overall clarity was also a factor..

well, just got back in....poured a new floor in the old pig pen...gonna put more chickens in there....when they are big enough to put in with the adult chickens....we will get another christmas ham on 4 legs....lol
the pigs eat the cement....they pick and pick....eat the corners off of the block walls....we hang a chain from the roof for them to chew on...and they do less damage to the other stuff....
no, i dont....but i will add that to my list...my dvm has a transistor mode with an adapter...and it does have hfe setting...
but, if this is better at testing and not so expensive...maybe it will help me...

Gene. With what you got there you are probably good but for like 20 bucks that tester above is damn good. Hell it checks everything. I got one and I am glad of it. That joker even tests LCR.

It can do Capacitor and a bunch of other components, comes in really handy and cheat LOL
Here a video of it I like it cuz it has a bigger screen.

Its Great, w a transistor you can tell what it is and the C,B,E save a lot of time and its quick
