There has been a lot of solar activity that I have been attributing to terrible reception around here. Lots of interference and dropouts.

that did not cross my mind....i guess i was worried more about the two major power producers within a short distance...
that does make sense...as i recall it works against ham signals as well...
so far the chokes have taken the noise out....still has momentary drops on occassion...
this too shall pass...lol

question....mr. joe et al...
sometimes ... i have noticed a slight ac hum in one of my wopls...that drive the mid bass 10" speakers......never thought much about it..not that bad...however, today it came to my attention...

my son in law was mixing...from his mac through the schiit dac...straight to hafler preamp...all cabled...when he finished up ...done....he disconnected usb cable from dac to mac ... ie no input...the hum was more noticable...when i switched the preamp to another input...this is running off aux input...the hum went away....and returned when set back to aux ...i turned off the wopl for 5 to 10 seconds ....hum did not return...
sure i have a ground loop somewhere...
ideas???
