.... and when u think THAT's not enough, you could use the PL200 as a 'pre-amp'.
just plug the 200's speaker o/p's straight into the WOPL's inputs. heh heh heh... :laughing9:
LOL, you wouldn't have said that unless you tried it yourself in your early years :toothy10:

Derek, the thing that will jerk you up by the short hairs on the WOPL will be a complete redo of the bass department. Being flat to 10Hz is not universal among even the more expensive amps. Wish I could be there when that first bass note on Star Shpongle Banner hits your eardrums. Another amp tester is track 4 on Crystal Methods'---"Vegas" album, foundation threatening bass.....

Once I clean and polish this PL200 SE2, I KNOW its going to give me an extra 25 watts per channel, no doubt at all.

I have it on Mp3, must try and find a lossless version. Will give it a whirl.

you'll never get passed the point of actually lowering the tonearm down for the stylus to actually touch the record with a WOPL.....

Keep the volume at 0 until the arm is lowered then and watch like hell for low frequency rumble. I notice the better my amp and speakers get, the more the speaker moves from that rumble. These days if I want it REAL loud I transfer it to digital and apply a subsonic filter that way.

i need to find you some serious boxes. e.g.: JBL 4530, but empty, and put new baffles on the fronts and chuck your 12" from your 4311's into 'em.
that'd rock your boat.
