Oil on the (downward slide) upward climb...

We could live with 250, that would equate to about 50 to 55 for crude...

Which is boggling because if you extrapolate it out ... 100 bucks a barrel would = 5 bucks a gallon nationally, and that wasn't the calculus when crude was high 1+ years ago.

What accounts for the roll-off at the historical high limits?

Don't know Tony, not that familiar with that end of it...but yeah, it don't make sense...

Yep up to $2.09 here today.

It's $2.39 here, I am not happy, it was $2.09 last week. This is from $1.69 a month ago. I call B fucking S. What's the fucking crisis? There is so much oil on the market that frackers are closing down? Something is rotten in Denmark

No disrespect Lee, I know you rely on it for a living

Just received my portfolio report yesterday and :hello1: I recouped close to $1,800.00 of the $6,000.00 I lost in the last two quarters in just one :blob8:!!

As I said, I don't mind spending 50 cents more per gallon at the pump if I can gain $Thousands in gains from market investments!!

My mutual funds rose sharply as well...not sure how those tie into the stock market/oil price rise.

But keep rising please!!!

In australia, we are taxed almost 40 cents per liter of fuel. Almost $1.50 per gallon. Its crazy, and no wonder the government prevents standard fuel from going under $1 per liter, its all about tax.

Yea and if our shit head Governor get his way we will have a nice gas tax on top of any increase in price

I am for the gas tax increase as long as all the funds go towards road and not mass transit. Our roads and bridges suck big time and need long overdue repairs.

I am always in favor of more spending on roads and more prisons cells. :toothy5:

It's Gannett's national paper, they want to buy Tribune and wanted to keep their board or stockholders from voting on something or other, anyway not all that ethical. They split the TV stations off as TEGMA, which owns our local NBC station and it's parent, the old King Broadcasting.
