O scope recommendations

I've got some kind of Nak with stuck meters I grabbed cheap.

I need to either fix it and sell it, or just sell it.

670ZX in good order (and rack handles) other than the meters being stuck. Decent cosmetics- the "eject" and "phone" writing hasn't worn off as I see is common...

I am told the meter mounts warp and it's an easy fix, but I haven't done it.

Tested and tape path cleaned, and head demagnetized (as I received it). I've not put power to it since acquiring it.

Appears to be eBaying at about $800 if I fix the meters. 20% discount for non-eBay sale.

Shipping to NL would kill it for me as well as it probably being 120v (?)
I do love a VU meter though.

...but maybe a nice project for our new friend and member @ThomOfYorke , who I know is looking to get into fixerupper type shennanigans?
The classic transport would be a nice starting point perhaps.

As far as I am aware, it needs nothing but the meter bracket straightened.

Not much to learn other than how to take the front cover off (and that might not even be necessary).

Obviously, I should fix it and ask a grand for it...

Seems an o scope is somewhat needed for this hobbie. What would be a good used scope for a hobbyist? I've used them so there wouldn't be a learning curve involved.

And maybe an audio signal generator too...

Hi Oldskoolfan!

Depends on how far down the rabbit hole you want to go.

For business, obviously the best you can afford.
Back in the day when I worked, we used Tectronics 2430a scopes, Huntrons, and obviously quality DVMS.

As a hobbiest, the bare basics will do.

An inexpensive scope, such as older Heath kit multi trace will suffice, and can use a computer as a signal generator.

...make that 4 bad pots...

Bought from you know where. Described as in "good working order".View attachment 84414View attachment 84415View attachment 84416View attachment 84417
Anybody have a B&K 4011A schematic and parts list?
Mine needs repair. Got 2 bad pots that need replacement.
Oops...make that 4 broken pots. Appears the seller cleaned this unit after testing it and snapped the mounts. Should have retested but chose to send me a broken generator. Then had the gall to accuse me of breaking them. Anyway, found
