Need help to repair two phase 400 amps

You can glue those fiberglass sleeves, then desolate all the wires off the board.


Desolate???? How about desolder......damn phone...

31 pages and we have the backwall tested.....doin good....
 
You're lucky it's not me doing this - 31 pages would be just the intro...it was easier to take the trip to WY!! (a lot more fun too).
 
Hello Lee, Wires are secured. I have a question. Out of everything we have checked have you seen any bad components? Just curious. And for all the others out there. When we are done this little jewel is going to run just fine. And if does grenade so what. I will still come away knowing a lot more then I did that's for sure. And there is always the try again as long as I can get the fire put out fast enough! LOL!

You can do what you want with the board, but I would rather you put the big caps back in so we can test the power supply while you wait on the solder station and my care package. Did you notice the polarity of the caps when you took them out?
 
Lee, I think I have it right. But I want to be 100% sure. I have the second amp here I can use to double check. Also I have dinner on the stove. Be back soon.
