I didn't realize you enjoyed watching drag racing, Lee. Any others who enjoy viewing 1/4 mile drag racing? Geri and I attended a large indoor custom and classic car show, today. This morning, our local car club met, then caravanned down together for the 1.75 hour drive south to the event. While at the car show, we spoke to Brett Wagner, the host of Speed Channel's "Pass Time", a popular drag racing game show. He's almost as funny in person, as I am. He was a good sport and autograghed two posters for Geri and I.

I met Connie. Loved the Big Daddy. Had a friend who got his A&P license so he would be hired by one of them. He sent resumes for years. Saw him again in Phoenix and he had just gotten hired by one of them. He was so happy to never have to work on a plane again. I remember all those guys from when I was growing up. I like Pro Stock the most though.

Definately not something for Phoenix in the summertime. I have a daughter that lives in Phoenix, we don't visit in the summer. Pretty damn nice at Christmas though. Gotta completely change the wardrobe between Gillette and Phoenix that time of year.
