Did more tweaking to the EQ last night, I've got er dialed in (by ear anyways). I'm using some tracks off of Primus's Pork Soda, very dynamic, the 700 sounds very similar to the 400 on the woofers but offers more "oomph". I've got a 16ga power cord coming for the 700 as all my IECs/NEMA 5-15s are 18ga. Now comparing the 400 to the 300b in this application is interesting. There is more clarity at the top end with the 400, probably due to the lack of coupling transformers, and the 400 sounds good right away, the 300b with it's tired output tubes needs 20-30 minutes to sound it's best.
