Edit: How I misread my meter I can only blame the Dilaudid the Doc gave me for kidney stones that won't budge this last week! So, DC Offset is way good and don't listen to me when I'm "stoned" immaculate.

When latest health issues clear up, time to order protection board and neaten up wiring.

Cheers,

Mike
You have my sympathies. I've had these things several times over the past 20 years with the last ones back in January. Mine were big enough to need removed as they got lodged and for some reason the ultrasonic bath wasn't an option.
I know exactly what you're going through. Drugs help...a lot!

When there is a small problem offset is over 1 volt. After that it can be 10 to rail voltage. That 200 to 800 was making no sense. It was looking like we were going to learn about another failure mode.

Yep, Joe set me straight on those measurement, so there I sat a bit red faced over an easy measurement. I really like the new control board so will be adding the DCP when Don's back in town. OT, my Yamaha M65 protect led went off last month shutting amp down. Turns out the old Sony glue ate up several components on one channel, all fixed and Amp sounds fine. At least Carver did not use that junk with my PL-400 but need to open my M-400a cube to see if any of that evil stuff was used. May have been a Japanese thing?

Thx, lol, one of my evil nurses told me I now know what childbirth feels like....
