Motorola SJ5744-2 TO3 style transistor ID/Info

You could see if aeri inc (aeri.com) is interested in purchasing them, if they are new/unused.

They specialize in finding and selling old transistors. worldwide.
 
They are most likely counterfeit, the Motorola symbol is not correct.

Searching the Motorola archives indicates they never produced this part number.
 
Have you seen the Motorola symbol from the 40's or 50's? It wouldn't make sense to counterfeit a transistor they never made. If the Chinee were going to waste time and money faking it, they would use a common part number.

And they do. A common Chinese knock off is all the fake 15024s on ebay
 
They are showing 1985 date codes, if you believe that. I would say it's not very likely they are counterfeit. Probably an OEM's part number. I have a late 70's D.A.T.A. book for bipolar transistors I can check in a few days.
