Anybody been in theirs yet?. Mine got intermittent. Lots of flotsam jetsam in between the leads of the IRLS 3034-7P.. cleaned those up. Pretty rough in there..
Haven't used mine enough for it to behave as if it needs a teardown but yeeesh, that's dirty. That may be something to expect on my drill, however, as I use it a fair bit in the workshop and running trailer stabilizers up and down.

Finished the clean up, continuity checks, etc. Don't know shit about mosfets, but, like anything else, if there's shit between the leads that's a bad thing. SMD stuff, it looks to have been hot enough to melt some excess solder away from the power mosfet leads but I wouldn't swear to it.. Sooooo0..... A Milkwaukee 1/2" Model 2763 lives. On the way home from the rig today bought a backup to the 2763, a High Torque model 2967....

Yours probably gets the most severe duty so doubtful any of us have been inside as they are still working just fine.

Or a typical pit stop.

Seems there are a few companies making them for this gun.

Yeah we're pretty hard on that shit out here...

I'm still at home using air and bought Craftsman ½" impact gun. It has 600 in reverse which seems to be good for the shadetree mechanic. That high torque model, 1100 install and 1700 in reverse would break a lot of the puny €-M12-M14 bolts I work with. I would not consider it adequate to use at the pulp mills I worked at which use industrial sized nuts and bolts.

Glad to say the Craftsman is made by Ingersol Rand and has been a great gun for years.

I have a brand new still in the oily bag IR air impact probably from the 80’s. I have a 110v impact that’s good enough (also IR) that obsoleted my air ones.

Interested in a trade anyone?
