And that white contraption on top is her sunning area under the heatlamp, and there is a ramp from the water to the "basking" area.. She was also a rescue from a garage sale. She was in bad shape, left in garbage water most of the time her shell was covered in mold and mildew and other stuff that has taken months to come off. But she's a happy turtle now...

Spent a great couple of days with my eldest and her husband, whom we hadn't seen in over two years. They are wonderful chefs when the have the time and we were treated to several meals worthy of five star restaurants. She was enjoying a couple of days of rest from a grueling drive to finish up an $800M real estate portfolio sale for one of their clients. She's the project manager for several attorneys to make sure all the i's are dotted and the SEC is okay with some of the transactions, etc. ad nauseum.

It was great to see them after so long and great to see them enjoying their lives, even with the workloads. The youngest daughter and her family went to Michigan to visit his mom and siblings - pix from up there look a lot like your house, Lee. Lotsa cousins having a ball.
