Meet "Val" PL 400 series 1, SN 171xx

you can see the 2 dsps on the right side of the sx1080 on the middle shelf ...i am only using the amp section of the 1080...but i have a switch there so i can use schiit dac and preamp or sx preamp (radio, phono, aux, etc) inputs into the system as well...i have no source for vintage media here....we stream 99.9% of the time...apple music is hi res lossless...

wiring kit...big rectifier with board and snubbers ...led kit...ps cap ugprade...extra fuses...especially 5a agx...talk to joe...he has pretty much figured it out....

Got plenty of the fuses...everything else is on the list. Might double up on the Busbar/rectifier/snubber parts. Have to go back into my other 400 to add the nylon washers between the transformer and the aluminum riser anyway.

i swear....when people walk in and hear as we play music from 8 to 5....they just stop and stare....100% say they have never heard music that clear...every stroke of fingers sliding on the strings...every breath....you will love multi amp with active xover...
mr george helped me on.my way to multiamp and dsp....

Hey guys, need some guidance. I'm going full comp on this restore. So do I need 8 of the 96's and 8, 95's or 6 and 6 then order RCA 410's for drivers?
 
Are you going to rebuild the point to point quasi-complementaty back wall to a full-complementary configuration, or are you going to order the WOAD full-complementary back planes from Joe?
You'd be time, money, and results ahead to place your order with Joe if you want to go full-complementary.
Here's a photo of the WOAD complementary back planes that replace the point to point quasi wiring your 400 S1 has

I see from your first post it's a 8 fin and you know about the back planes. Get your outputs from Joe, eight 95's and eight 96's will get you full complementary.
