Belden 8761 is OK but I prefer the UL2547 as it has a 360 degree wrap around wire shield which I prefer because it is easy to terminate. I think most wire is made in China these days save a few manufacturers. I know Monroe Cable makes in the US because their factory is one town over. But most of their stuff is for mil harnesses.
 
Hey Mark - I have some M27500 twisted shielded wire in 20 and 22 gauge with 22759 single conductor wire and a single shielded wire - same type as the twisted wire. Also have some RG-316 and a couple of other types of coax. Here's my wire holder.

I have also used the M27500 and thought that would be the best for application but migrated away from that to the UL2547.

I found the M27500 to be lumpy, stiff and does not dress very well when compared to the UL2547, especially for relatively short runs. I always strive for the Teflon insulation because of the thin wall and no melt back but in this case, I walked away from it.
 
Back plane check complied with.
First row of outputs installed, checks complied with.
Bias for left channel - .350 vdc no adjustment required.
Right channel - .345, adjusted to .350 vdc.
Installed control board - all resistance checks good.
Powered up - both rail voltages dropped from +- 81 vdc to +- 70.9 vdc.
 
Rail voltages probably dropped due to the DBT. Just a guess as I've never monitored the rail voltages as I brought mine up.
The heart stopping moment for me on the 400's was finally plugging it in without the DBT or Variac.
The 700 Pro was pure terror when bringing up the 5th and 6th row, and finally plugging it in directly to the wall.

Goes to the quality of Joe's kit. First kit I ever built. The documentation provided was complete and detailed. Having this forum also answered questions with all the pics available to help understand the routing.
I'll spend today connecting the faceplate. Then burn in time. Not sure the wife will truly appreciate that:p. What's the recommended duration?
