I'm selling most of my gear in the next couple weeks.

So this is really to ask about pricing from you my friends.

The Logans are in great shape, the wood side rails are oak and perfect, so are the powdercoated black stator grills. The woofers were both replaced with the upgraded ones from the factory 2 years ago. I'm including the old ones since they could be easily reglued back to the surrounds (the voice coils and caps were not damaged).

The matte finish cab sides show a few scuffs, and one has a dime size chip on one corner, all four original adjustiable footers are there. Plus those nice speaker cables with gold Tiffiany spades.

The Yammie amp is mint. I'm thinking $400 for the Logan's and $300 for the amp, but will sell both together for $500 for a quick sale on CL. What do you think?
 
It's a sad story, the lease on the house is up in Oct. They want to raise the rent with no improvments to the house. The A/C unit is not up to the size of this place, the blinds are old and crumbling, the carpet in the bedrooms is shot, and the house has airleaks that cause the eletric bill to be over $240 in the summer, and the gas bill over $180 in the winter. So Dale found a friend to rent him a room cheap, he's a messy hoarder and has 5 cats and an ill behaved boxer puppy that chews everything...poor Anniepoo.

So I'm stricking out on my own with a new small place, I just won't have the room for all my stuff, let alone the slabs. Wish me luck :D . I put up an ad over at Polk forums because there's several guys that are local, if not them then on CL it's all gonna go cheap. I think my pricing is very good, but you never know the way the economy is :evil:

Thanks Lee, but I don't see how it would work out, it'll be a long time till I can get to a space to accomodate them like what I have here. They need to go, I'll be fine with the Celestion's. No more Mach 5 listening sessions anymore with a small 1 bedroom with neighbors about, Thank God I have nice headphones :thumbright:

The little Sanyo intergrated stays, so do the tape decks. And of course the SAE amp/pre. I haven't found the place yet, so I'm not sure about the Yammie pre and the Kenwood amp, they probably need to go along with the Marantz 2270.
And the Thorens and the Onix will never leave me either :love10: , getting rid of half my model cars is gonna kill me as much as losing the slabs :sad3:
 
OK, so when ya wind up with your dream place we'll just have to rig you up with some TOTL White Oak gear!!

Aaa, Ummm, No! Both the big Teacs stay with me, I wouldn't last 2 weeks up there in the winter, my penis just shrunk thinkin' about it :cyclopsani:

Maybe Lee can get you a job in the oil industry? Wyoming is tropical in winter. Or maybe Larry needs Cabana boy in the Casa de Virginia?

Wyoming produces high quality natural shaved ice in the winter for superior drinks.

Seriously tho.... you don't know anyone there with some space in a storage unit or something? No... not the yammie and the logan's... say it's not so!!

Just the thought of them sitting anywhere unused is too much to bear. Several guys over at Polk wish they were closer and think I'm practicaly giving them away with the Yammy for $500, so my pricing is right, if no bites then I put an ad in on Friday morning. It really is killin' me, but it's time to man up and do what I need to do. I'll make money again someday, I always find a way. It's just these early ones had a real magic.
