Update! Update! Update!!!!

Well, a buddy really, really wanted the Logan's, he has two days to convince the wife that he will die if he doesn't get them  . I put in an ad for the Marantz for $140 and stated all it's flaws in the cosmetics, the two burned out bulbs and a need for some deOxit on the volume. Said I was pretty firm on the price, which I am.

Anyway a really nice guy came to demo it. I had some cheap Sony speakers set up with the Onix CD-2, it made those Sony sound pretty darn good, and he thought so as well, we listened to this , http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ask-89WV ... re=related , Charanga Cakewalk....very cool stuff, very dynamic with some impressive mid tones in the keyboards that would make some stuff fall on it's face. He's looking at the Logans..."could he hear them?"

I said sure, but not with the 2270 amp section, we pre'd it out to the Yammie and Wow was he impressed!. He wants them for himself, not to flip. I told him $500 for the slabs and $300 for the amp, but I've got someone else looking hard at them and I'll deal on the $$'s. I called my buddy and told him he better shit or get off the pot. The longer I drag this out the less I want to part with them  . I really like this guy that came by today. I hope he calls back.

Part II, no calls from either yet, keep your fingers crossed for me, I don't think I'll have any trouble selling at that price. Even though this guy today was a pleasure to have in my messy from the moving home, others might not be. This really stress's me out having to have strangers around. I'm pretty private unless I know someone, anyway that's it for now.

That Charanga Cakewalk CD was his, I really recommed it, very nice stuff :thumbright:
