Well , it just came out...slept in for the last 4 days....and it didnt feel weird ...i was ready...
Congrats on your partial retirement Lee. I hope you have a blast. Nice the way you hid this announcement in the middle of an audio post

Agreed. Every amplifier I have EVER had in the office I can hear something from the speakers. Only the WOPL has none, nothing. I am really enjoying it more than I would have ever realized. It absolutely has to be listened to to understand and I know that now. So, time to check myself... I brought one of my "Audiophile" buds over today and he couldn't believe it.Full WOPL upgraded amplifiers and the great Model ONE are "Dark" amplifiers. With power on, all cables connected, volume down, and close to the speakers - there is nothing there. No hum, no hiss, no buzz, no crackle, no pop, nothing. Does not matter if you just turned the amplifier on or it has been on all day.
Not many amplifiers can make that claim, especially tube amplifiers.
Congratulations Lee,I can attest tothefact that they (The Ones) can beat a set 2000 watt 15' woofs into submission...
Mark, Joe or Eric what is output at 0db?
Pink Floyd Sorrow-Pulse is just incredible at 300 to 400 watts...
The Ones do this without sounding constrained or overwhelmed...just clean kickass....
Over at Randy's now....
I've pulled the retirement chain. Not entirely, but not everday at 5am anymore. 50-1/2 yrs is enough. Special projects like acid jobs ,fluid levels, dynomometers, etc will still get me out of the house .
Time to play.....
Had no idea a set of K's could sound like this in a trailer house...goose pimple stuff...
And a "One" is not overkill on the mids.. .its perfect..
Congratulations Lee,
It's an adjustment, but when it's time....you know. I'm so busy after retiring, I don't know how I did it all those years.
Wish you the very best !

Congratulations on getting to retirement, Lee! Can't be easy in your business. Just watch out for the stuff you never got done while working, it'll work your ass off.
Good Lord now you are going to be so busy you wont ever have any time Lee! I thought the same as Joe BTW. Very humble of you to hide the retirement in an audio thread... It's going to be GREAT! Big Huge Congrats! You have DAMN sure earned it!I can attest tothefact that they (The Ones) can beat a set 2000 watt 15' woofs into submission...

Asses?Amen....got plenty of those...
About those Californians, with rain only from late October to early April in the East Bay, I had good, deep treaded tires on one car and would drive the other one nearly to the cords showing but only in the dry summer months. That odd short downpour one day caught me out and the quick rain brought up lots of oils and such from the roadway. That was a fun drive home. Yes, folks that don’t see rain/snow for months completely forget how to drive in those conditions.Hell, they slide all over the road when it rains let alone let it ice or snow!
50-1/2 years sure should have earned you some time doing what you want. Enjoy retirement.
Nominally set to 350W RMS if you have the meter switch in the 0dB position.,,2x that of the PL700 0dB settingSoooo....what is output at 0db??
