Jer's PLWO to be... (Jer vs the 700, Round 2... it's "Personal" this time)

You might have but I didn't find 'em anywhere. Bummer... gotta wait for this "job switcheroo" to finish so I can get friggin paid, then I'll get a few on order. I did check 'em tho - looked fine, but maybe I should do it again out of circuit?

What do you think about using those 3439's I do have? They're about the same gain wise and should handle the volts. It's just a switch...

Ahh.. "By the power of Greyskull!!".. heheh We're fixed. BTW I did put in a couple of those 3439's in the DCP in the process... Figured what the hey, seeing as how they can handle a lil more current for the relays.

Guess later tonight I should go see what's up with Steven's Pioneer... :study:

Did the 410's have a bad mica? That's the only time I've seen them oscillate.

I replaced the micas when I put the 410's in. Dunno.. maybe a funny seating on 'em, but I thought I was pretty careful. The MJ's aren't sounding too bad tho... remember that I replaced those wirewounds making up the Z network on the DCP after putting the 410's in.

I might try some other drivers dunno... sounds pretty good right now tho. I can definitely hear the advantage of the extra power over the Yamaha, even at relatively low levels (relatively = nothing falling off the walls).

Ton's of earwax, helps dampen the "return of the tympanic membrane when subjected to extreme travel".......that's how.

Figured I'd give a quick update on this guy. I swapped in the "D" board from one of my 400's and the RCA410's....

Damn, we be jammin'..... :thumbright: Listening to "Those Shoes" by the Eagles - bam.. pow... whap... (trying to describe it... man it sounds good!). Got it at a decent listening level.. about mach 1.8'ish or so... pumpin man.. pumpin'... :bounce::tongue10:
