MPSA93 will work fine. I have moved to the MPSA92 because it has a higher working voltage, thus better margin, higher reliability, better quality. I have been migrating to "better" where ever possible in the White Oak kits. Use ON Semi or Moto if you can find one, best quality.

Q4 does not need to be matched. take one out of the loaner.
Just an illustration of a guy who'll give his right arm (and tranny, to boot) to help out a friend!

Thanks Lee.. should I put a piece of tape over the pwr switch with big skull n xbones to remind ya when you get it back?

On it's way to Oklahoma. The Guinea Pig is living life as a loaner. The Ken Nelson was reluctant to send his 400 for the White Pak treatment so I said it only took 10.00 to ship the case with an amp in it, so a new tradition was born. We'll not ONLY FIX IT< WE"LL GIVE YA LOANER!!!!!!!!!

LOL.. Well, I have time to get some MPS's on order and have your 700B back up to snuff then!

So.. the last "lesson learned" FYI / FWIW... Put that daggone DCP in "right".. If you have to get some parts for it, get 'em.

ALSO... On a tip from Joe, I swapped back in the OLD twin-10 ohm resistors on the Zoble for the one that comes with the DCP - the one that comes with is a wirewound, which could put some inductance where you don't want it to be. I'd take some pics of that, but hey... it's buttoned up for now! (basically I stood both "on end", then ran a small lead wire down to the other solder pad).

Sounds good.. better than it has ever so far!

Well hmmm... that sucks....

Looks like the noise I was getting (a good half a volt AC, at that) seems to have originated from the DCP. Guess I need to pull it and see what's broke, eh? The AC must be bleeding through somehow over to the speaker outputs.

Got it out and checked it over. Nothing "obvious" I can see .... hmmmmm! I wonder if a wire came loose?

I'll have to put 'er all back together and see. Tomorrow tho.. it's getting late.
