Those sockets are icing on the cake - a very nice touch. For repair or troubleshooting it's a great improvement. Nice job Joe!
The boards are looking sweeeeeeeeet Jer.
They work either way Jer. You just have to push out the OFP plugs from the non plug side before you install the board in the chassis. Use a 1/2w resistor lead.Except one minor thing... they're ass backwards! Grrr... I'll probably end up soldering the outputs..

Now you have a lifetime supply of 15024's. I have about 3 or 4 lifetimes worthI did try that, Joe. Even with the plug out, the actual leads from a TO3 would not push through from the opposite end - there's some sort of very small mini lock pin that won't allow travel but one way.
Already have them "uninstalled", but yeah... that procedure ended up depositing solder down through quite a few of them. Going to end up ordering some more cups along with the outputs I need (ended up this amp had 15024's on the back side... )

Yeah they're getting that way .. I swear the 95 and 96's sound better anyway, but that could be just my mind playing jedi mind tricks...
Here's the 'planes... ready to populate with components (and Gar's 700 too.. ). Tomorrow tho, because work's a beech and I'm bushwhacked.![]()
