Jason's Phase Linear P3600

I'm really digging it now. When I got it back it was real dark sounding and a bit bland. But it has opened up and came to life. If I use the tone bypass it's a bit dark but with using the treble and bass controls and using the turnover buttons at the right time it sounds great. I've yet to try a mc cart throug the phono section but the mm is great. It really has a crazy colored background now if that makes any sence.. But I really like that. Between leaving both units on all the time this system is really shining!!! The 939 is no longer a contender. But it is a damn good amp still. But the WOPL will wipe the floor with it. Id love to try one of the spec pre's one of these days to compare. Because this 3600 is so superior to that brand new 1000$ nad pre I had for a second..

A tricked out Spec 1...Spec 2 is the matching amp, ain't no slouch either, alpha dog around here for 38 years....

Yes, VERY WELL made Pioneer stuff...not like Nando's Elite stuff, but pretty damn close. The amp will do 335 into 8. and they sound good, not as good as a WOPL'd 700 though.

What year are those from? My 1250 is 78 and my 939 is 74

Oh by the way lee I'm gonna throw a audiquest power cord in with the 700. If you think it's worth dicking with then you can put it on. If you truly feel it will be no benifit then we will forget it.

I am converted, big power cords are the way to go....

Timdalf has his new 700 hooked up to his Soni's now and is in audio bliss. Wouldn't even answer his phone, but he did txt----and I quote---"Sounds Beautiful"...

Good.. Lol because this is 179$ of power cord and only 3ft but that's ok. It is heafty stuff though

I'll have to wedge it in there but I'll make it work. There ain't a whole lotta room where it comes in...
