Sad about Roxy Blue never going anywhere, they came out at the end of Glam and as you said, Alternative was taking over the mainstream. Pearl Jam's debut came out and that started the whole Grunge/Alternative movement

For sure. Salty Dog had a run of bad luck as Geffen refused the new GNR single to MTV if they played the new Salty Dog single. The choice was pretty easy for MTV but ended up tossing Salty Dog to the curb.

The Quireboys...well Sharon Osbourne was their manager. If that doesnt say enough, she did not promote as much as she should have, and missed on a few big tours they could have got on to. I believe they ended up getting on the GNR bill around the time, but it was already too late for them. The moment had passed.
