Glantoirs 'Name The Album' Thread

Contemporary WHAT then?

Good work.

I was hoping to drag this one out for at least another day!

EDIT:

I should have mentioned that Nando came unnaturally close to getting this right.

He gets a bonus point from me.

Another clue, this guy was part of an on and off again duo. This was his second to last solo release.

With respect to the "duo",
Eurythmics is another one of those groups - like Duran Duran - that is in my collective experience of odd but enjoyable 80's acts.
Annie Lennox can really belt them out.

This cover was friggin tough as nails but I got it.

The Ringmaster General

Yep like walking on broken glass, you got it. If no one got it I would have given the clue "Why do my feet hurt?"

Another iconic, earth shattering album with major popularity from pretty much all corners of the world.
Personally, I prefer to pick well known releases to keep it cool and all.

This one will start out extra hard because of the simplicity of the first snippet:

I named this photo "Bend".

The year after this album came out they were nominated for a grammy award but lost.

Snippet #3

It is in the R&B/Dance category of songs. The album was released in 1986 and went Gold in the US and Canada.
