Gibson '76 Explorer w/ HSC and all paperwork FS or partial trade

I have had a lot of halfstacks and full stacks but this was one of my faves 900 cab loaded w/ greenbacks with the JCM2000 DSL100, Meat and potatos

The Dean Korina V was a sweetie also, had a few of them over the years

This is another of my faves. Framus Cobra 100w boutique Metal Crusher. The Peavey 6505 next to it I still have

Then again, this Framus Dragon that is warming up Missycat was proably the best sounding head I ever owned

Thanks Ben, here is a better picture of it, it's a 1981. I had several of the wine red Standards, I liked them a lot but my favorite Les Paul's were my 1979 Black Beauty and a 1991 tobaccoburst Standard w/ dark back

Here's another flame top Classic Plus Standard, it was a 1993. The leather couch it's sitting on now resides out in the front yrad waiting for someone to pick it up for free, come and get it! It pulls out into a bed but since Debbie changed her style, it does not fit the look

Black Beauty? Do you mean a Black Custom? Those ones are my favorite.

Here's a pic of my Epi.

Cool Epi Ben! Yes, a Black Beauty Les Paul Custom. Mine was a rarer chrome hardware version ala John Sykes. One of best sounding guitars I ever owned no hands down. Just sold it a few months ago to pay the house taxes

Man the wine and the black beauty are awesome. But I'm still partial to the blonde/natural colors

This triburst Custom Shop Les Paul Custom w/ the reflektor knobs was a sweetheart also. It was so pretty that I only played it twice the whole time I owned it. Another I regret selling... actually, I have sold 55 guitars in the last 10-12 years. I had one helluva collection and man, do I miss making a good income but at least I was smart and bought a lot of stuff that I could later sell for a substantial profit. It still hurts though knowing they are long gone. At least the spare bedroom is not full of guitars, now it's full of records LOL

What was your profession before Ron? If you dont mind me asking.

This was ultimately my favorite Les Paul that I have owned. It felt like it was made for me. Slash later has his signature based on this and added a tap switch. This was a 1992, considered one of the best years for Les Paul's made in the modern era. Weighed in at 11lbs and sustained for days. It now belongs to a very young girl in Australia that can barely hold it. Her Dad is a collector of redline Hot Wheels and saw my ad on RLOL offering it for sale. He paid $4k for it + $650 shipping. To this day, I still have dreams about this guitar

I install and refinsh hardwood floors. Not standard jobs, I can make a new floor look 200 years old or make an old floor look like new. I do log cabin, herringbone, borders, medallions and everything other install pattern you can think of. Most of my work was down in Misquamicut, Watch Hill and Newport Beach but since the economy has crashed, work has dried up. No one wants to pay $75-100 an hour for that kind of work (or can afford it right now) so I take on condo installs, board repairs, redoing stair treads, whatever I can get when it's available. I think I worked 8-10 jobs all of last year so as you can see, one cannot survive with two teenagers in the house. Hence, I have sold all but one of my guitars and amps and enough records to fill a store to get by until things look up. Most of the guitars went to payoff our house about 5 years ago. Our rate starting going up and we felt we would lose the house if we did not so something drastic. My Firebird went, the Corvette we had went, Debbie's MG etc... so now we have a POS van and a 33ft motorhome left

Shit man. I know I have had to move a lot to stay in work. Probably moving again in the spring. I dont own a house so there are no worries there. But with my line of work, and the area I live in, layoffs are always around the corner. I had worked with a company for 6 years that went out of business. Since I been taking what I can get. I started in the trades at 19, doing exterior Stucco. Switched to steel framing/drywall and T bar about 10 years ago. That was promising for a while. After the company went under, I tried to work as an electrical apprentice, but that just wasnt paying the bills. Taking almost a 10 dollar an hour pay cut. But it was work. This year I went back to doing Stucco, as it seems framing and drywall is pretty slow. Stucco unfortunately is a somewhat seasonal thing. So im laid off yet again.

Yeah this economy is screwed at this point. I do landscaping brick walks, retaing wall, pruning, patios shit like that and the last 2 years have been rough

Oilfield fellers, it's never slow.......././ Ron, my youngest son was starving to deathafter 8 years installing and finishing hardwood floors in Denver. Henow gets 26.00 a hour and 30 hours overtime a week. He'll never go back.

I might be swapping this Explorer for a 2003 Cinnamon Burst Les Paul Standard, if someone wants the Explorer, step up now

This is the cinnamon burst. It had a neck repair done by BCRGreg who is one of the best in the World. Can't even tell it was cracked. Pups are 35th Anniversay PAF's
