Gentlemen---The future of Phoenix

You could always use letters and existing numbers. Letters could denote who built it, for example, White Oak L500, if it was Lee that built it. If someone else built it, say Jer, could be a White Oak J500. Or reverse it so they are the same with the letter afterwards for who built it. White Oak 500-J.

Of course that could also be defined in serial numbers.

Ya might have something there Ben...

White Oak GEPETTO.

If you believe your amp is better, check your mirror.

Are the factory heatsinks aluminum? Anodized?

Yes Doug anodized aluminum.

Also Doug, thank you for the info from the RMAF. It looks doable if there's a room available. I think it's going to be a Phoenix Audio Community Forum room featuring the Blue Collar System. A working man's system.
Just looked at the room sizes and measured the mancave........oh boyohboyohboy......almost exactly the same.....ohoyohboyohboyohboy...

You may want to check the Phoenix name so there is no confusion. There is one in DC in May or June. He may remember me. I gave him 10 tapes for a door prize his 1st year.

One thing I have noticed from previous years attending is the rooms that sounded best(to me) were ones that had some sort of room treatments.

Just had a chat with Stephen. We can now count a Parasound HCA 2200 Series II slight;y tweaked and super quiet amp to the list of the Silver 400's victims.

That's a pretty sick amp, those are Class A MOSFET's right?

Ron, I've never heard of it. Stephen is doing his review today and will field a bunch of questions. He has a lot of experience around he end stuff and this would be a good time to satisfy your curiosity about stuff.

I tell you what, I am not a huge fan of cd's but I have Dream Theater - Images and Words in and holy shit. I only have it on cruise control at 0dbs and wow, this cd showcases just what a WOPL 400 can do. Lee, for your demo, I would highly recommend snagging a copy or I can have Debbie burn you one. Simply breathtaking sonics, I could not imagine this cranked through your K-horns. I like my 300w 'Vega's but they can't take what just this Quasi wants to feed them, let alone a full comper

I need some D9s badly

"he end"... Now why did I get a picture of this guy kicking back with Skeletor, jamming on a WOPL?
