Wonder, though, if it's a quality of life issue for those who live in the clogged cities? I have no idea how, say, traffic volume in Paris would compare to New York City, but from the walking I did in NYC years ago while Pat's folks still lived in Jersey, they could have done away with a bunch of vehicles to help with breathing.
