Finally put up a nice antenna, now I need a good tuner to go with it...

Good thing, because they were shitty :la: and I couldn't get the contrast and brightness right even when practically desaturated :sign6:

Thank you, Glen. I like a few of the more modern slim-line tuners, including that Kenwood KT-990D. I use a Denon TU-460RG downstairs.

Nando.
I really like the TX-950 but the darn buttons are a mess on that tuner, with the way the arms come apart that press down on the microswitches when you push in on them...a powerful tuner with a really nice sound otherwise.

A really good DIGITAL tuner. A POOR design by YAMAHA.

Yamaha T-85. The one to own.

But I already have:

Yamaha T-480
Onkyo T-4055
Pioneer TX-800, 6500 II, 7800, 9100
Nikko FAM-450
even Realistic TM-150...

My favorite FM suffered a transmitter failure today and either lost a stage or god forbid slagged the antenna and my boombox is still receiving it's weak signal from over 60 miles away.
