Thank you, Glen. I like a few of the more modern slim-line tuners, including that Kenwood KT-990D. I use a Denon TU-460RG downstairs.

I really like the TX-950 but the darn buttons are a mess on that tuner, with the way the arms come apart that press down on the microswitches when you push in on them...a powerful tuner with a really nice sound otherwise.

My favorite FM suffered a transmitter failure today and either lost a stage or god forbid slagged the antenna and my boombox is still receiving it's weak signal from over 60 miles away.
