Na, we just KNOW you, it's still bent Joe...
Joe another one for the books. The bulb wells on These Dixon meters are very shallow. 5/16 to the bottom. These LID's have 9/16 reach. I will fire up the soldering iron and shorten up the LED leads...
Yes, but not 1/4 inch of them. It took 3 more washers per stud to get them stood off the bottom of the bulb wells.
Does the entire flange measure shallower than normal too Lee? From the photo they look pretty normal, is there something added inside the lens by a previous owner?
The best illumination occurs when the LEDs are just kissing the inside surface of the front clear lens. It results in good total internal reflection and good wall wash.
Nice explanation of the LED placement and how it affects the illumination. Is the descriptor "wall wash" the interior decorator coming out?![]()
You bet Nav!
Ok - just checking.
Wall Wash......Hmmmmm.......
I see you are going through a naughty nurse phase...
Very nice.
The nurse has a different looking set of meters also.Yeah - gotta stick to a theme for a bit. With nurses like this just imagine how many guys would actually visit their doctor. I'd be there.
