Makes me wonder just how far a guy could go with that 3D printing thing .... HMMM
Wouldnt that be handy.
3D printing is way cool.

I haven't seen any printers that print using a soft enough material though. Maybe we should come up with something. With a three dimensional scanner and a capable printer....:shaking::shaking2:

Plans for the original Klipschorn are on the same site- and I'm not ready for a project that massive. I can't say for sure, but the image you attached looks like the folded horn of the original K. Yeah, it would be a good one- a GREAT one even, but I'm a bit on the OCD side, so the thought of something this complicated would bring me to the point of self-defeat. The LaScala, especially for my first attempt at DIY speaker systems, is the best entry point for me.

ALSO, The original K required (or at the very least, strongly suggests) that you put them in a corner for bass reinforcement, so the room they're placed in have to be taken into consideration. I want/need something a little more flexible. Furthermore, this is a home- not a disco! I'm sure the LaScala would crack the windows sufficiently!
Now I'm gonna fix last nights mess, the blue print I posted were actually for the Klipsch Jubilee a much longer folded horn that does not need a corner to big out the Klipsch magic. But yes thats why I asked how ambitious you are feeling. On a side note I saw the bottom of the cognac bottle last night, so that was my twin that was here last night .... LOL

Jubilee? Yeah- I could probably handle that. I thought you meant the huge monster 8' tall FrankenKlipsch. I've seen the baffles/waveguides on the big ones, they'd definitely keep me awake obsessing about baffle placement and drying glue. I'm too OCD for that.

So where are the Jubilee plans- I wanna have a look at them.

WHOA! HEY- SORRY!

Just googled them- they're beyond me!

Well, I saw that Lee had said he started a thread on AK to nose around a little to see what might surface in the way of plans for the Jubilees, every thing I have in the way of speakers are all Klipsch originals. I have never built a speaker of any kind, I was there when Lee built his Ks, so I know its doable. I might be interested in a pair of Jubilees myself, but not at 18000. a pair .....Ya know

These are step by step with pictures of the individual pieces ( placement and fit while being assembled ). This came from a friends build - plans alone sometimes are hard to follow. No problem though... if you need the resource it available.

Thanks, Brett

Thanks to NavLinear for this "way cool" Phase Linear front panel holder.

The attached photo is of Steve Johnston (Bob Carver's partner at Phase Linear) with one of the front panel holders.
Steve has an appreciation for this kind of thing as he too has a printer.
