What's the bottom line here, is it ok to run the two sets of speakers on this NAD 3150 or not? and is the ohms going to be 7 or 3.5 in A+B mode?

You didn't do parallel. That's the inverse of the series measurement.

Thanks for that, glad we got it cleared up. As a matter of fact I have two sets of speakers connected to it (6 and 8 ohm) but have been too scared to run them on A + B in case it does damage, and no I'm not running it hard because its not my amp.

Going by my calculations running two 8 ohms and two 6 ohms in parallel would give 3.42 ohms....correct? Amp is stable down to 2 ohms so this should be OK?
