The buzz is nothing to worry about unless it gets worse..but before we attribute it to the WOPL , plug it into a dedicated plug separate from any cabled devices and check again. Cable TV can have those effects on audio...


A buzz almost always means ac interference..hiss is almost always parts related..
Well, that amp has traveled a few miles. I certainly didn't hear a buzz when it was here and my K's are kinda efficient. I'll have to look at your THD &N tests and see if there was a bad dip at 60 hz.
I have an Isolated circuit in the house which can be used for testing. When I feel like getting off my ass.
If you power down a WOPL then back up within a minute or two, does it keep that nice sound that normally takes a couple of days from cold start?
Can't say as if I tried that.
Maybe you can be the one to answer that question ....
