Blasting Led Zeppelin - I can't quit you baby (vinyl) through the B&O, got it at its limit, no major distortion, but certainly need that fan going as heatsinks getting fucking hot =)
This is a factory one Doug, but I have in the past. A Piece of 3/4 by 1/16" thick aluminum angle, then set a cap on the one edge that will go over the cap and trace it then make a dremel rough cut, then file to close fit...
Whats the new chassis material, looks like stainless? Also like the PEM nuts for threaded cover fastners vs the self-tappers that strip out like the stock design.
This one is untreated aluminum. It is the prototype and until it's proved up the production run is on hold. After this build you'll be able to get black anodized aluminum and anodized copper. There maybe options on other metals. Pricing is under 100.00. Don't know how much under 100.00
Cooling is a big one. Especially when used with copper heatsinks. Then there's a school of thought on mechanical resonance induced into the signal path. Of course copper makes the best Faraday cage..

No data to support my idea it would be better, but the hard copper and aluminum I've been around I'd say copper would be better. But that's just my opinion Fred.
