Tried several, along with different mice in all 3 usb ports. It's working now after the touchpad and touchscreen disable. I googled that shit.
I noticed that on some Windows 10 laptops, touchpad is always on by default and you can't directly disable it by the Fn combination key.
There's a checkbox hidden in some obscure parameters that says something like "disable touchpad when external pointing device is detected".
Sometimes on Windows 7 the last mouse driver doesn't work right, lots of fun on trying to find an older driver with a crazy mouse.

Yeah, tell me about it! I have an old Compaq Presario laptop with Win10 PRO and the newest touchpad driver limits its functionality. I googled that shit too...ad nauseam. Finally I discovered the Windows-updates-show-hide tool to block unwanted updates. You can check it out:

My gaming computer I built in 2012 started overheating and shut off after a couple minutes. Seems the water pump in the processor cooling system died. Not bad getting about 10 years out of a cooling system they say only lasts 5 years. Anyway, I bought a new cooler kit for it and now it's back up and running and is nice and cool. I don't game any more but with the large monitor and over 1TB of storage, it works great for skizmos and pics of the amps I built.
