I found a class-D power amp at a sale for thirty-some bucks, and tried it out in my main system, but didn't like the sound. Then I used it on the woofers when I went to passive bi-amping. That was OK, but now I use a Denon (not class-D) power amp. The class-D will be tried out on the subwoofer if I ever get on top of that project.

I see that NAD has a couple of D class amps on the market, like the NAD Masters Series M27. I would like to AB with my 7 year old Denon 988. A friend says these D things are the future? Lol, many say that ain't so.

I bought one of the cheap $20 MO-GU using the Ti-TPA3116 chip to kick around the garage. Lol, still kicking around the garage, loud and clean, I can only listen to it for 30 minutes or so...but fun to BT with 190GB of music using iphone and itunes Match.

I don't think so either, but I AM using an old Optimus STA-20 mini-receiver from Radio Shack that needs an FM alignment for my computer amp/radio here in the second bedroom/shop. Since the oldies station in Boise that is hard to get without a line amp (250 watts) is based from the 5,000 watt AM down the street from me in Ontario, OR I'm covered.

A set for every room but the bedroom if I fix the Panasonic RX-660 boombox (and I set things up in the bathroom but not permanently :p )

Yeah....why do even order harmonics seem ok to the brain??Does it superimpose the even order harmonic wavelength over the fundamental freq and see that it's pretty close??
Up to a point I'd say it came from listening to AM radio...
