Clair Bros Amp

I'm hooked on them... Antique Radio Supply to the rescue. Plus, they work well with the volume pots I had, they are round not D. I guess I need to spec out the D pots.
 
Momma won't let me keep them all. Gotta ship some....... FedEx guy will shit his pants after the hernia.

The black faceplates certainly give them a different flair, I like em...
 
I ran it to the end. Had a couple issues but worked through them. I tried working the stock boards but they suck and its easier to WOPL them and rewire. Can't wait to get home.
 
I have two [Clairs] but only one has a complete faceplate. The other was damaged when the truck it was in rolled over and trashed two racks of 'em.
If anyone has a spare faceplate [only the front cosmetic part] available, I'd be very interested in acquiring it.

I think Perry had several reproductions made up. They are slightly different so they can not be passed off as originals by unscrupulous people

I couldn't be happy with a knockoff on an original amp.
