The neighbor lady has a female golden retriever who loves me and takes good care of her mama, she gets lots of hugs and belly scratches.

In case you are getting mixed up, that's the dog. The neighbor is not single ;)

I've about exhausted my supply of new Maxell Type IIs (although I do have a FEW gems, it's mostly MIC now with a few 1983-86 UDXL II/XL II left). Same for Memorex.

I DO have ONE 80s XLI-S 60 though!

Mine is late seventies, opened and used, don't remember the length but I just got it from Mike Shotwell (eBay the-mad-buyer, although he's not selling a lot of tape right now...Mac and PC floppies amyone)? Got a c.1990 or so SA-X 50 from him as well.

The pride and joy of my TDK stock is the pre-SA KR with the wrapper about gone but unused.

Douglas Is Too Kind

This past Thursday I received a parcel from Douglas. I had purchased a ten-pack of sealed Sony Metal XR 60 cassettes and a ten-pack of sealed Sony Neige Minidiscs from him through this thread. I go through a lot of MDs, so I was happy to be able to restock and I have only a few Sony Metal XR tapes left to record on, so this helped me out considerably. The postage to Canada is expensive, but Douglas had given me such a good deal on the lot, I was more than happy to pay up. But after paying, Douglas refunded me the cost of the tapes and sent 9 extra premium sealed tapes and 2 MD blanks along with my original purchase. I only found this out after opening the large package.

Once the impending Canada Post lock-out has been lifted, I want to send him a gift in appreciation of his kindness. Thanks again for another fine deal, Douglas.

Nando.

Have Doug take it over and send it here. We don't strike too much.

You go through a lot of Minidiscs eh? 'Cause there's a few more headed your way.

Nando loves MD! He has posted short videos to his Photobucket account about it and DATs. The DAT with The Price Is Right bumper music was awesome!

Didn't Ron send that his way?

I'd post a picture of my UX and SA tapes from Doug but I still have the problems in vB4 and the Bike Forums owners chose to downgrade to their own version, 3.9.3.0 (They own vBulletin Solutions as well and use this version on all their sites)...

Begging the question as to WHY, if they are trying to sell 4 and even 5 are they not showing optimism by using 2001 stuff with upgrades?

Right now they only have a video player and all pictures are links.

Thanks, Gary. You managed to find a couple out in the wild?
