Good Morning George, about that "Dream Amp", they mention something like 15-22 watts, is this a different type of power rating? Is it the sound of the tubes that makes the unit so tempting?

I have the Wings "One hand clapping" video soundtrack on mp3 now, am uploading it to dropbox and will send you a share link, its pretty good quality but I need to increase the treble on the amp a fair bit, am stoked to have it in this quality anyways. You can hear the reel to reel starting up at the beginning of most tracks and there are out takes, very cool. The video download of it has a lot of hiss (mono vhs tape) but is an improvement on the vcd rip I already had which came from an even worse vhs source. Let me know how you go with that request for the dvd version.

What else is happening? Not blowing up too many components or speakers I hope :laughing9:

I can't think of enough superlatives to describe them.
Radford are the best I've ever heard, period.
... and yes, even at their low power ratings, they are capable of going remarkably loud given the right speakers.
Once you've heard 'em, there's no going back.
Worth every penny, but excellent examples are difficult to find, and can go double what these non-perfect ones will fetch.

I found an .avi copy of the vid this morning, so i'm not bothering with the DVD now.
Thanx for the audio tho' D2.
Maybe if I had the time I could re-do the audio on the vid but i just can't be bothered right now.
... or with anything else for that matter.
I think I'll go and have a knap!

Thank's George, I'm off to bed, have been a vegetable all afternoon, major fatigue. Wanted to sleep when I got home but fought it until now. :cussing:

Some days we are just as productive as a vegetable. I could hardly get out of my chair today, got bugger all done and just talked shit :laughing9: I should be in bed. Now if I can just drag my ass upstairs to brush my teeth then I'm set! Coming back down them will be even more fun.

Here's a Sonics 800x like wot I got.

Now I think this guy is getting it confused with the 600x, which is a 3 channel amp with the built-in active 3 way x-over, but the 800x is a Bryston 7B. (800W Monoblock) which as I've stated elsewhere can be converted to stereo very easily by bypassing the back panel mono module.

So if anyone's interested in a cheap 7B, here it is.....
