Eddie Vedder gets cranky with the sound guy at one stage during the show because a microphone connection fails
Bloody musos. the more highly strung they are, the harder it is to work with them.
the things 'we' do to chase our passions, (e.g. mixing), but there's a limit, and when they start to publicly humiliate you, just turn it all off, and stand back, and wait for the apology.
if it doesn't come, then you go back stage, and belt them one, right on the nose.
(.... and 9 times out of 10, they start crying like a little girl)
most Musos used to be appreciative and used to put a lot of work into what they did, but as attitudes changed with the times, they eventually turned into primadonnas that you just couldn't work with anymore.
So, I guess I left the whole thing at about the right time.
Ask any sound guy "how many musician friends do you have?", and the answer will pro'ly be ".... zero".
.... oh, and I almost forgot to mention, the only person more highly strung than a singer/muso, is a sound guy.
