Last night I converted the inputs to RCA. Yesterday I got it up around 400 watts or so. Damn thing wasn't even breaking a sweat, but I blew out the side panel on the left side CV. Fixed er up with a 3 inch deck screw, so I'm good to go there.

Today I brought back the Carver CT preamp. No EQ.. just the preamp between the Crown and my digital rig. I'm listening to the new Fu Manchu right now, and damn... if I close my eyes I can clearly see myself stage center out in the audience. Where's my lighter man?? I gotta hold it up in "salute". Each whack of the drum is going right through me. And I don't even have it close to how loud it was yesterday.
