Are the back to back diodes going directly to a ground trace or staying strictly on C6's leads?? Also, do you have any acetone??

Unsolder and lift one leg of D9. Power back up and see if you still have 40v+dc . Also check rail votage. I want to see just how high it goes with the DBT you have in line...

I forgot to mention, D9 was replaced in LEFT. Lifted Right channel D9 with no change.
Rail voltage +54 and -59

On C6 leads with good board clearance. No acetone.

Take the dbt out of circuit and briing the variac up to 80 volts. Then see what you have bias and DC offset.

dbt out of circuit, rail 200R B+/B- in circuit, 80vac input= .024 on left output,+57 vdc on right.

Michael, can you get your hands on some acetone tomorrow?? Ya need to clean the back of that board, and in case some traces are toast, got a backup board for ya. One I swapped out when the guy went fully comp. IF customs we'll let it by....
