The handles on my 700B are likewise and all this time, since 1990, I thought it was a blunder. To me, it looked like holes were drilled in the wrong spot then holes got drilled in the right spot and those ones were tapped.

Gary, the smaller set of holes are there for the purpose of machining (they have to have a way to hold them in the CNC mill)
 
Perry, I'm sure I can speak fore everybody that we appreciate the trouble you go through to make this possible, having been there and done that a lot of time can be burned arranging all the various things that go with it. Thanks again....
 
Yeah, no kidding thanks a lot!

And understood re the extra holes. Gonna go shopping now for some nice cap screws - maybe an allen key socket job.
 
All handles are in possession of the USPS and should be received by Friday.... Let me know if there are any issues.
