Well it another day and I feel good. Things have happened to lift a little load off me. This morning I'm listening to Tom Petty The Highwayman. Sounds pretty good.

Anyone have Satellite TV. I have Direct TV. I'm a little upset. Carly called to get a better deal. They gave her a package that really isn't that good. I had to call and get all my HD channels I was paying for. So I'm looking at Dish. I'm going to call Direct today and see what they can do.

I have alot of packing and shipping today. So everyone have patience with me. Plus I'm getting an order ready to ship from Alan. Anyone need any thing from Tapeline? Yes Graham I ordered your part. LOL If you want it from Tapeline tell me. Don't order from them. It depends if I like you if I will give you a break on the price. Shipping will be a lot cheaper with the Phoenix order. You won't believe what all is coming over. So far.

Good Morning

Have a lot of work to do today. Phoenix bought a Tascam 302 or 320 to dub tapes. It can be daisy chained. Was in the garage was listening to Talking Heads. Now I'm listening to Tom Petty again. LOL I have some Christmas music. Just not in a Christmas mood. We are suppose to get snow tomorrow.

I think the reason I'm not in a Christmas mood is that it don't feel like Christmas. I have just a few things on my mind. Already took the scooter for a ride. Yesterday I rode about 40 miles. Went to my cousins out in the country.

I was originally going to get Direct TV but they cheesed me off before it was even installed. I sent back the hardware they mailed me and cancelled. I lost my deposit but it was worth it. I've been very happy with Dish Network .

Well I called Direct. The gave me a very good deal Free HD, a DVR, a bigger package and something elsieI can't remember.Oh I can watch shows in every room from one DVR. I got all of that for less than I'm paying now.

Listening this morning to Dr. John. Waiting for a reply about shipping the loaders. Sorta frustrated.

I have always liked Dr. John. I'm still doing my test to see which deck makes the best master. We shall see. I have a feeling it is the Yammy.

Hi Larry,
Well after several years with Direct TV when they would not even give me local channels in my long time package, I called Dish. They had a great deal but once you look below the surface you find some things are missing and even though they provided a nice DVR for two
rooms they go an wreck the experience when they tell you you can hook up an external USB drive for further storage but neglect to say anything about the fact that they want $50 to activate this drive. It seem to me that hidden fees are the one way to poison a customer away from their service. I guess when their promotion run out I will give them their chance to rectify this if not back to Direct TV who happens to be the most expensive or to whatever else is going on at the time. It seems that these satellite providers are on borrowed time with all these Netflix and computer online services coming on. On top of that, there are stations like TBS that plaster not only their stupid HD icon on the picture that you are paying for but now have promotional garbage in the left corner popping up. Where are the Popup blockers for satellite. I think this is getting to be more of the usual rather than the exception. This is in essence steeling from the customer and their commercials do not get any shorter. I watch them at 60X- plenty of sales you get from that. So for both Direct and Dish they both have failing grades to me.

Well I had to call Direct this morning. My tv had a mind of its own. I had to reset the HD thus losing all my concerts I had recorded. I have no popups. Well I got a good deal and I'm pretty happy.
