Tell me a bit about the current draw on this beast....
I decided to push things a bit with Lorde's "Royals" (try this song - a TON of deep bass).
I had the meters set on -20db and was tacking them out so I switched over to 0db.
Had it bouncing into the red and the whole house was shaking.
Everything still sounding awesome, crazy bass, vocals still clear..
But then...
It sounded like my music stream phone was "skipping" and then speeding up a bit! Music cut in and out, then some harsh "squealing".
Last time something like that happened, I had a big amp that would cause a DAC to freak out when I powered it up!
Being that this amp is even bigger, I'm thinking that having it all in the same surge protector, might cause issues with other components? This is probably one of those amps that deserve its own dedicated 20amp outlets? Yes? I have one here in the room...
