NW - bad of me, I assumed they were two-way without asking. Titanium dome tweeters? I suppose tone controls would be the easy, cheap way to go.

Unless you want some million dollar cerwins lmfao!!! We all know what mine turned into with a upgrade !!! A lot of money.. They do sound amazing but it was not cheap at all. The tweets were 250$ a pair alone

I could only listen to the audition amp for 2 minutes....definately wounded...the mids and highs are F(*&^%!! Sorry you guys had tpo hear it in this condition, this ain't what a WOPL is all about, cause this one really sucks....sounds like a bias issue and a wounded Q7....

Gets hot even at a moderate level, tried some Mach9, couldn't keep it cool even with a fan.....definalely wounded....but God that power is DELICIOUS!!!!....I can get the Pig to clip on the K's.........not so with this one........just can't listen to it very long......

But there is somethinmg to say for the "raw" nature of the quasi bass.....not as tight......maybe not as fast, bit there is a difference there that's intriguing....

BTW, Lee, I'm enjoying my Cyrus 2 + PSX amp [70 WPC] with the Vandys, tho' the WOPL loaner sounded fine until hooked up at Mikes. We thought it was just a bad amp/speaker combination.

Well, I never cranked/abused it, my CV's only handle so much and my 400 will trip them, the 700 never even breathed hard. I wonder what the failure was caused by? Maybe something got knocked loose in shipping so many times? Solder joints or something easy?

It sounded ok here too. Something must have blown or come loose in all the handling. I tried while I had it and couldn't even get it warm.
