3300 Series II lost output - main & headphone

Yes, it sounds really good. But I think it would be happier with a higher output cartridge than what I'm currently using which is 3 mv. At the moment, the pre's volume control must be quite a bit higher for the same loudness as the other sources. I'll look through what I have for one in the 4.5 to 5 mv range.

Gary, if I remember correctly, that pre came with the headphone jack hooked to something weird, if you would pop the top and take a pic, I think I could tell you where to plug it in at...

The twisted harness goes from the headphone jack to the multi-pin connector soldered to the PC board. These are topside photos 1 & 2. Photo 3 is PC underside where multi-pin connector attaches and photo 4 is PC underside where both pairs of output jacks attach. Switched pair is to the picture's left side and unswitched to to the right.

For some reason I neglected to test that Gary, sorry bout that..

No worries, I don't use headphones that much. But out of curiosity, in the third picture, there is a line drawn on the PC board linking two connection points. Would that have to do with the headphone jack?

Those lines drawn on the back were shadowing caps so I could desolder them...
