A good reason to always turn the volume down first when shutting down , starting up, and switching between tuner, turntable, cd player, and whatever else your playing with. What's the big hurry? the music will be there.

That is a way cool piece of equipment ya got there. Doesn't seem like a bad trade-off money wise for the time saved and no nasty chemicals to do bad things to your health. I've seen people using these for cleaning records too, another multi-purpose machine. Excellent.
